Application procedure
- 1Candidates interested in any course offered by the school must apply in the prescribed form available with the prospectus. The prospectus may be obtained in person for ₹1000 in cash or by post for ₹1100 through a demand draft in favour of “R J School of Management Studies”, payable at Balasore. The amount includes the entrance-test fee.
- 2Admission in UG programs is made through the RJSMS Entrance Test (RET), conducted at district headquarters, major towns or cities in Odisha and other states as decided by the school. The centre, date and venue are communicated before the test. RET is followed by a Personal Interview and Group Discussion.
- 3Candidates intrested for MBA qualifying through recognized eligibility tests conducted by a university or institution—including MAT, CAT, XAT, ATMA, OJEE or equivalent examinations—may also be considered for admission.
- 4Candidates who have not received their RET admit card may collect it from the entrance-test centre one hour before the test by presenting their payment receipt.
- 5Candidates who have not completed their qualifying examination, or who have appeared and are awaiting results, may also appear in RET.
- 6The school may allot an applicant to a different RET centre when necessary instead of the centre originally selected by the candidate.
- 7RET is a one-hour entrance test covering English usage, general knowledge and current affairs, numerical ability, and paragraph writing.
- 8Where the admission rules are silent, the decision of the school is final and binding.

- Three colour passport-size photographs and three stamp-size photographs
- Appropriate entrance score card
- Class 10 board certificate as proof of date of birth
- +2, +3 or Graduation provisional certificate, migration certificate and mark sheets, as applicable
- Original documents together with Xerox copies for verification
- Required course fee through demand draft in favour of “RJSMS”, payable at Balasore, Online payment is also accepted
